Dozens of Louisiana families were excited about an opportunity for their children to participate in a weekend football camp that promised to be spectacular. That all changed when the camp’s organizers suddenly canceled the Baton Rouge event after the families had already paid the $100 registration fee.
Out of $100, the families turned to Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell to help them get their money back.
After pursuing the matter, the Attorney General’s Office successfully recovered a full refund of the $100 registration fee for each of the 71 families involved. This resulted in a total recovery of $7,100.
