Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell served as the keynote speaker at the Faith-based and Grassroots Community program in Bossier City. The annual event, hosted by 26th Judicial District Attorney J. Schuyler Marvin and other district attorneys for Louisiana’s western district, helps to develop the capacity of clergy, lay, and community leaders in community revitalization, health awareness, family empowerment, economic development, and education.

During his address, Caldwell told the audience of public officials, law enforcement officers, and community leaders that their collective efforts are important for the overall growth and development of the community.

The day-long program also included presentations by state and federal offices on domestic violence, grant writing, and funding sources.

Coming soon, the attorney's general office seeks to provide a mechanism by which to take online payments for collections.
