Following Assistance from the Public, Attorney General Jeff Landry Re-Arrests Attorney on 20 Additional Felony Counts of Child Pornography

BATON ROUGE, LA - Today, the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) – under the direction of Attorney General Jeff Landry – re-arrested Victor Loraso for multiple Internet crimes against children. 

Last month, General Landry arrested Loraso (36 of Covington) on child pornography charges and asked the public for their assistance and information on the alleged perpetrator. Today, Loraso was arrested again and charged with 10 felony counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under the age of 13), eight felony counts of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (over 13, but still minor), and two felony counts of Distribution of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under the age of 13).

“As a father, I will do anything to protect my son; and as Attorney General, I will do all that I legally can to protect every child in our State,” said General Landry. “Today’s arrest is another testament to the professionalism, dedication, and diligence of my Cyber Crime Unit. Our agents work hard before and after arrests, and I thank them and all who provide assistance to our team.”

Loraso was again booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail this afternoon.
