In Louisiana, charitable trusts do not currently have a filing requirement with the Office of the Attorney General. However, in the interest of protecting charitable assets, the Attorney General may petition the court to enforce a charitable trust by compelling a trustee to perform his duties, to enjoin a trustee from committing a breach of trust, compel a trustee to redress a breach of trust and even to remove a trustee.
