BATON ROUGE, LA - Attorney General Jeff Landry today announced that his
Cyber Crime Unit has made an internet crimes against children arrest in St.
Tammany Parish.
"My Cyber Crime Unit continues to work tirelessly
to investigate and arrest those producing, possessing, or distributing sexual abuse images and videos of children," said AG Landry. "We will not
waver in doing all that we legally can to protect Louisiana's children."
Benjamin Terranova, 70 of Mandeville, was arrested and
charged with 50 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of
Thirteen (possession) and two counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles
Under the Age of Thirteen (distribution). The arrest was a result of a joint
investigation with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security
Investigations, and St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office. Terranova was booked
into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
