Attorney General Murrill's LBI agents arrest illegal alien in Slidell for Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested an illegal alien for Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles.

20-year-old Angel Gabriel Juarez was arrested at his home on N. 14th Street in Slidell on June 5, for violating:

  • LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Distribution of) Pornography Involving Juveniles under Age of Thirteen; 26 counts

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Juarez was later transported to the St. Tammany Parish Jail and booked accordingly.

ICE has placed a detainer on Juarez.

"Crimes like this will not be tolerated here in Louisiana, especially from those in our country illegally. Great work by my LBI agents and all our law enforcement partners on this arrest," said Attorney General Liz Murrill.

Our investigation is ongoing.
