A man from Jennings has been arrested by Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation for multiple disturbing charges.

47-year-old Joshua Christopher Marceaux, of River View Drive in Jennings, was arrested on August 12, 2025 for:

• 3 Counts of LA R.S 14:81.1E(5)(a) Child Sexual Abuse Materials under the age 13 (felony)
• 65 Counts of LA R.S 14:89.3 Sexual Abuse of an Animal

LBI agents got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which kickstarted our case.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Joshua was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Consolidated Jail.

His bond information is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
