AG Murrill's Office arrests 20-year-old from New Orleans for Production of Child Sexual Abuse Material, Pornography Involving Juveniles, Sexual Abuse of an Animal, and more disturbing charges
Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) arrested a 20-year-old from New Orleans on numerous disturbing charges.
Walker Allen Sholar, of Bordeaux Street in New Orleans, was arrested on September 23, for violating:
- 2 Counts: LA RS 14:81.1 E(5)(a) - Pornography involving juveniles (under the age of thirteen)
- 8 Counts: 14:89.3 - Sexual Abuse of an Animal
- 1 count: 4:81.1(4)(a) - Production of Child Sexual Abuse Material under the age of thirteen (13)
- 1 count: 14:81.3-- Computer aided solicitation of a minor
- 1 count of 4:81.1 E(5)(a) - Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material under the age of thirteen (13)
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit and the New Orleans Police Department.
Sholar was booked into New Orleans Central Lock-up.
His bond is pending assignment at this time.
The investigation continues.
