Crowley man arrested by AG Murrill's Office for indecent behavior with juveniles, production of child sexual abuse material, and more charges

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Crowley on September 29, 2025.

30-year-old Shequan Quimone Moore, of West 4th Street in Crowley, was arrested for the following charges:

  • 2 Count(s) of 14:81.3 -- COMPUTER AIDED SOLICITATION OF A MINOR -- (Felony)
  • 2 Count(s) of 14:81 -- INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES -- (Felony)
  • 1 Count(s) of 14:81.1 -- PRODUCTION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL -- (Felony)
  • 1 Count(s) of 14:80 -- CARNAL KNOWLEDGE OF A JUVENILE -- (Felony)

LBI agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which kickstarted their investigation.

"If you hurt our kids, you're going to jail. Great work on this case by my Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents, along with deputies from the Acadia Parish and Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, and Homeland Security Investigations agents," said Attorney General Liz Murrill.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office. 

Moore was ultimately booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

His bond has reportedly been set at $125,000.

The investigation is ongoing.
