AG Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation rebooks Crowley man with additional disturbing sex crime charges while in custody at Lafayette Parish jail

Back on September 29, 2025, agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested 30-year-old Shequan Quimone Moore, of West 4th Street in Crowley, on multiple charges including:

  • 2 Count(s) of 14:81.3 -- COMPUTER AIDED SOLICITATION OF A MINOR -- (Felony)
  • 2 Count(s) of 14:81 -- INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES -- (Felony)
  • 1 Count(s) of 14:81.1 -- PRODUCTION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL -- (Felony)
  • 1 Count(s) of 14:80 -- CARNAL KNOWLEDGE OF A JUVENILE -- (Felony)

Moore was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center at that time for those charges.

However, while already in the custody at the Correctional Center, Shequan Moore was rebooked on the following charges related to the investigation:

  • 1 Count(s) of 14:81-- INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES-- (Felony)
  • 10 Count(s) of 14:81.1-- Production of Child Sexual Abuse Materials-- (Felony)
  • 2 Count(s) of 14:80-- CARNAL KNOWLEDGE OF A JUVENILE-- (Felony)

Additionally, Moore has a current active arrest warrant related to the same investigation out of Calcasieu Parish for the following charges: 

  • 1 Count(s) of 14:46.3-- Trafficking of Children for sexual purposes -- (Felony)
  • 1 Count(s) of 14:81-- INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES -- (Felony)
  • 1 Count(s) of 14:81.1-- Production of Child Sexual Abuse Materials -- (Felony)
  • 1 Count(s) of 14:43 -- Third Degree Rape-- (Felony)

As the investigation continued, additional victims were identified which led to arrests warrants being obtained for the charges noted. Moore was re-booked into Lafayette Parish Correctional Center today for the charges in Lafayette Parish and a hold was placed on him for the charges in Calcasieu Parish.

AG Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation is the lead agency investigating this case with significant assistance from Homeland Security Investigations.

"The high bond on this person is appropriate. He poses a clear and present danger to children. If you hurt our kids, you will be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I'd like to thank my Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents for their diligent work on this disturbing case. I'd also like to thank Homeland Security Investigations agents, along with deputies from the Acadia Parish and Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office for their assistance on this case," said Attorney General Murrill. 

The Calcasieu Parish Arrest warrant has a bond of $ $3,100,000.00.

His total Lafayette Parish Bond is now $225,000.
