Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrest teen in Texas for Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a 19-year-old from Texas for Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13.

Kyler Bradley Montelaro, of Sheffield Lane #5 in Lumberton, Texas, was arrested on March 4, for: 

- 14:81.1E(5)(a) Child Sexual Abuse Material (Distribution) (Under the age of 13) - 12 COUNTS

LBI Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which jumpstarted their investigation. The location of the crime was on LA 70 South in Pierre Part. 

Kyler Montelaro was located and taken into custody in Lumberton, Texas; booked into the Hardin County Jail; waived extradition; then transported and booked into the Assumption Parish Jail.

This arrest resulted from a joint investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Texas Office of the Attorney General, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, and the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office

His bond amount is unknown.

The investigation is ongoing.
