Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrests Eunice man for 275 counts of Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13 and 115 counts Sexual Abuse of an Animal
Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation recently arrested a man from Eunice for 275 counts of Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13 and 115 counts Sexual Abuse of an Animal.
59-year-old Jed M. Courville, of Majorie Street in Eunice, was arrested on March 5 for violating:
- 275 Counts of 14:81.1 E(5)(a) -- Child Sexual Abuse Material Under the Age of 13 -- (Felony)
- 115 Counts of 14:89.3 -- Sexual Abuse of an Animal -- (Felony)
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Eunice Police Department.
Courville was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail.
His bond amount is unknown at this time.
The investigation continues.
