Attorney General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrests Scott man for Child Sexual Abuse Materials and Sexual Abuse of an Animal

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Scott for Child Sexual Abuse Materials and Sexual Abuse of an Animal.

36-year-old Brian George Reese, of Maude Drive in Scott, was arrested on May 12, 2026, for the following charges:

  • LA R.S.14:81.1E(5)(a) Child sexual abuse materials under the age of thirteen - 11 counts
  • LA R.S.14:89.3 Sexual abuse of an animal - 1 count

LBI agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which kickstarted their investigation.

This arrest was the result of an investigation involving the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Reese was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

His bond has been set at $100,000.

The investigation continues.
