AG Murrill’s LBI Arrests Monroe Man on More Than 500 Counts of Child Sexual Abuse Material and Sexual Abuse of Animals
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of
Investigation agents arrested a Monroe man on 430 counts of possession of child
sexual abuse material and 88 counts of sexual abuse of animals.
Johnny Williams Jr., 35, of Brookwood Drive in Monroe, was
arrested August 25, 2026, and booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional
Center on:
- 430 counts of LA R.S. 14:81.1 – Possession of Child
Sexual Abuse Material
- 88 counts of LA R.S. 14:89.3 – Sexual Abuse of Animals
The investigation began when Williams was found to be uploading
child sexual abuse material and other illegal files from a residence in Monroe.
Williams was arrested at his residence in Monroe on August 25 without incident.
The arrest was the result of a joint investigation involving the
Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ouachita
Parish Sheriff’s Office, and West Monroe Police Department.
Bond has not yet been set.
The investigation is ongoing.
