41-year-old John Randall Crooks, of Q Stockman Road in Deville, was arrested 9/28/2026 for the following charges:

• Count(s) 882 of 14:81.1 Pornography involving juveniles 
• Count(s) 412 of 14:89.3 Sexual abuse of an animal 

The arrest stems from evidence uncovered during a prior investigation that began in November 2021. Continued investigation from that case revealed that Crooks possessed additional CSAM and was receiving CSAM produced by a co- conspirator also arrested as part of this investigation.  Crooks was out on bond from his previous charges in Rapides Parish.  

This arrest was the result of a joint investigation involving the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office. 

Crooks was booked into the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Bond information is currently unknown.

The investigation remains ongoing.

35-year-old Bryana Gaspard, of Faith Baptist Mission Lane in Marksville, was arrested 9/28/26 on the following charges:

• Count(s) 1 of 14:81 Indecent behavior with a juvenile 
• Count(s) 1 of 14:81.1.E.(5)(a) Production of pornography involving juveniles

The arrest of Bryana Gaspard stems from evidence uncovered during a prior investigation that began with the November 2021 arrest of John Randall Crooks. Continued investigation from that case identified Gaspard as co-conspirator in crimes involving the sexual exploitation of children and the production of child sexual abuse material. 

Gaspard was booked into the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

This arrest was the result of a joint investigation involving the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Bond information is currently unknown.
