The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) arrested 73-year-old Jay Pilipovich, of Maplewood Drive in Harvey, on the following charges:

• 100 counts La R.S. 14:81.1 Child Sexual Abuse Material E (5)(a) child sexual abuse material under the age of thirteen (13) years old.

• 1 Count La R.S. 14:81.6 Possession of a child sex doll

Agents received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an internet search for child sexual abuse material.

As part of the investigation, agents executed a search warrant at the residence belonging to Pilipovich. During a post-Miranda interview, Pilipovich admitted to possessing child sexual abuse material. Agents located at least 100 images of children between the approximate ages of infant to 12 years old being raped.

During the search, agents located multiple sex dolls, with at least one of the dolls being an anatomically accurate representation of a prepubescent female.

On October 23, 2026, Pilipovich was taken into custody and transported to Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and booked on the outstanding warrant without further incident.

Bond information is unavailable; the investigation remains ongoing.
