BATON
ROUGE, LA – Attorney General Jeff Landry's Office has arrested two Jefferson
Parish men on multiple charges of child pornography.
“Sexual abuse images and videos of children are
despicable crimes; and I am proud of my team for investigating and arresting
child predators who produce, distribute, and view them,” said General Landry.
“We will continue to find and hold accountable those who violate the innocence
of our State’s children.”
Johnathan Martinez, 31 of Gretna,
was arrested on five counts of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under
13). He was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center following an
investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) Cyber Crime Unit,
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s
Office (JPSO).
Jagon Eldridge, 44 of Westwego,
was arrested on 17 counts of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under 13)
and 12 counts of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (over 13, but still
minor). He was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center
following an investigation by the LBI Cyber Crime Unit, the LBI Violent Crimes
Unit, HSI, and the JPSO.
