General Landry: The decline of Louisiana's coastline over the past 50 years had been a constant issue for Louisiana. Unfortunately, the creation of the Intracostal Waterway by the Corps has exasperated the problem.
General Landry: Mardi Gras parades, parties, and balls are in full swing, but it is always important to remember to be safe and use good judgment while passing a good time.
General Landry: It is important for students to test their skills and ensure they understand the topics discussed in order to prepare themselves for life after high school.
General Landry: Whether it is those who acquire unneeded prescription drugs, falsely bill, or lie to gain eligibility; all Medicaid welfare fraud is wrong; and my office will do all we legally can to stop it.
General Landry: The law prohibits animals or death row inmates from being killed by dismemberment, and the same protection should be provided for a defenseless unborn child.
Chief Deputy Stiles: Judge Polster's interest in resolving this issue globally is commendable. The opioid epidemic is a complex issue that Attorney General Jeff Landry has attacked from multiple fronts and will continue to do so moving forward.
General Landry: I thank Congressman Higgins for his efforts to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis. And I support his efforts to help Bella and others with CF.
General Landry: The Supreme Court must decide once again whether the Executive Branch can simply sidestep the people’s elected representatives in the Legislative Branch. As a strong supporter of the separation-of-powers, I hope they side with the Constitution and move toward ending this executive amnesty.

Solicitor General Murrill: This is a case with a complicated pre-trial history and significant competing policy interests; it simply boils down to the fact that when a defendant chooses to have an attorney represent him, he gives that attorney the right to shape his defense.
